Think of my job like being a coach for a sports team—except instead of athletes, I work with large companies. As a management consultant, I help organizations solve problems and make big decisions. One area I work in is strategy, where I help companies figure out how to reach major goals, like becoming number one in their industry. I also help during mergers and acquisitions, when one company buys another, to make sure they work well together. In finance, I help companies manage money that moves across different countries and operations every day.
